《Spain Travel Schedule》Foodie paradise 04 Valencia

Here is my travel schedule and review in Valencia. I spent around two weeks from Taipei to Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, Salamanca, Cuenca, Valencia to Barcelona. No doubt, I love the Spanish way of life! The climate, Spanish diet, diversity, language and Spanish culture. Let’s find it out.

Mercado Central

Central market of Valencia is one of famous city attraction in Valencia old town. If you are driving here, use the market’s indoor parking lot. Don’t forget to collect points while you shop and exchange them for a parking ticket before you leave. The opening time is from Monday to Saturday from early morning to mid-afternoon. Admission is free.

Belmonte Restaurant

Thanks to Google map, google review and tripadvisor, we came Belmonte  for dinner at our last night in Valencia! Everything, include service, dishes and setting in Belmonte Restaurante were perfecto in Spanish. Recommended the Bacalao, tomate salad, presa iberica, muy muy bien. Ask the staff for wi-fi password if you need : D.

Chocolatería Valor

We visited Chocolatería Valor in Valencia, near Valenciaflats Catedral apartment. This is a fantastic place for churros, chocolate, and any souvenir you want!!! All service was quick and gentle, no rush I promise.

La Riua Restaurant

We had Esgarrat Valenciano, squid suggestion, Paella Valenciana and cafe con leche. The paella was good! This is my first time visiting Spain. The restaurant itself has good atmosphere with lovely traditional decorations. A family biz as you might know. I found La Riua from google map and review, thanks!

Recommend attraction: Valencia Cathedral

The Westin Valencia Hotel

We three people stayed here for one night. Everything about Westin is pretty well. The service, location and decoration are awesome, we were satisfied with. Also the room size, lobby are great. The bed was comfortable for us : D, HEAVENLY. Recommend the Consum supermarket, only 5 mins by walk from Westin!

Valenciaflats Catedral Apartment

We three people stayed here for two night with two rooms in one apartment. The staff was pretty kind and gentle! You could leave luggage here for free~free~free. Check-in an check-out room facility were easy and fast! I’d love this. Most of staff would spoke in English, no worries about Spanish LOL. I have to say, I will most definitely stay here again when I return to Valencia. Oh, it located near Metro Colon, there are a lot of cafe, restaurant, and the chocolate shop, Valor here. You will never forget.
