Most of tourist would visit Alishan in Chiayi for purpose. This time, I’d love to share the dining experience in Morikoohii in Hinoki Village, Chiayi.

The last time I visited Chiayi is when I was a student, my friend took me haning around in downtown of Chiayi city. I remembered the chicken rice, fish head stock and the fruits from Alishan. Really great time. And this time, I planned 2D1N city tour in Chiayi city. Let’s take a look on my teatime!

超過五六年沒來嘉義，變真多

當然，那些觀光老牌商家一如往昔熱絡

記得以前沒有檜意森活村哩..

真是一塊有趣的所在

不論是嘉義在地伴手、特產、餐廳

假日來這走走逛逛，吸收一下檜木的精氣神也很不賴

My friend recommended me Morikoohii, a super famous pancake cafe in Chiayi recently. No doubt, I headed to Morikoohii directly after arriving Chiayi train station. Well, around 5 mins by scooter from Chiayi train station, 15 mins by walk I supposed.

鮮少來到西部的我，今年又因為颱風不斷延期阿朗壹古道

都不曉得2016年是否有機會成行orz…

Morikoohii forces guests to line up and wait. Nighty mins for dining, around thirty mins for waiting in a queue. The good news is the staff would call you when it’s your turn. Just make a reservation when you arrive Morikoohii, then just hang around to kill time.

檜意森活村距離台鐵嘉義車站約5分鐘以內車程

走路至少要20分鐘以上

炎熱的九月天，正中午依舊覺得曝曬

哪怕颱風過後，仍熱到你無可自拔XD

這次去嘉義吃到太多雷

而阿里山就與檜木綁在一起

日式林務局員工宿舍改建的檜意森活村就悄悄地誕生

在日式老屋吃冰頗炫，在濃厚懷舊風中談情也詩情畫意

森咖啡的服務人員態度都很親切，輕聲細語

上餐速度頗快

[加拿大楓糖佐有鹽奶油鬆餅$180]

Maple syrup with butter pancake. With vanilla ice cream, maple syrup, salty butter and fresh cream. I have to say the price is reasonable here. You might pay around NT300 for this set in Taipei, the capital city in Taiwan.

楓糖、香草冰淇淋、鮮奶油、有鹽奶油一塊、鬆餅雙層

日式厚鬆餅風格，但沒有恨天高那麼厚

是說這樣也就夠，兩片就覺得已經恰到好處

楓糖的黏度則沒有我想像中那麼濃稠

所以相對不覺得太膩

即便嗑光整盤，味蕾也認為剛剛好

I have ever heart it needs a lot of time to make Japanese style waffle. First I love the thickdense of syrup, not too thick but with a little bit creamy, love that. Sweet with salty, fantastic combination, the salty butter was really spot on. One bite of ice cream with a piece of waffle, mmm, the flavour of flour, so good. Highly recommend this waffle for your love and peace. LOL
