We popped in Hong-Nhien for a quick meal before heading to barber shop. I have to say this place is absolutely hot when you come here around 11AM. Make sure you are here at 12PM (the AC would on). Beside the AC, it worthy to pay a visit and try some vietnamese dishes with reasonable price (especially in Taipei). We had rice noodle and pork rib rice. Magic.
To my surprise, this place is really popular for foreigners. Most of them had spring rolls or rice noodles.
Curry chicken rice noodles: With soft chicken leg! The curry with a lot of onion, taro, carrot and basil was not that spicy, pretty classic. Great with value.
Pork chop rice: I had lemongrass pork chop rice. The flavour of lemongrass is not that strong, I could stand for it. With three side dishes, plain. The pork chop is soft and tender, I love the seasoning of pork chop. You would love it if you are child LOL, even I am almost 32. Here is the menu. No worries, there are pictures on the wall, just order the one you love.
